This guide walks you through purchasing a plan, accessing your server, and connecting for the first time. From zero to playing in under five minutes.

Step 1: Choose a plan

Head to the Shop and pick the plan that fits your needs:

Step 2: Check your email

Within a minute of payment you'll receive two emails:

  • Payment confirmation: your invoice from the Shop
  • Panel credentials: your username and a link to set your password at panel.micronode.ca
Check your spam folder if you don't see them within 2 minutes.

Step 3: Log into the Dashboard

  1. Go to panel.micronode.ca
  2. Enter the email you signed up with and the password you set
  3. You'll see your server listed on the home screen
  4. Click on it to open the Console

Step 4: Start your server

From the Console page, click the green Start button. You'll see the server log scroll as it boots up. First boot takes about 30–60 seconds as the world generates.

Step 5: Find your server address

Once the server is running, your address is shown in the top-right of the Console page, and it looks like:

ca-east.micronode.ca:25565

Copy this address. This is what you and your players use to connect.

Want a custom domain like play.yourserver.com?
Log into your domain provider (Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.) and add an SRV record:
FieldValue
TypeSRV
Name_minecraft._tcp.play
Priority0
Weight5
PortYour port (find it in Dashboard → Network tab)
Targetca-east.micronode.ca
Players connect to play.yourserver.com with no port needed.

Step 6: Connect and play

Minecraft: Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server → paste your address → Join Server.

Rust: Open Rust → Press F1 to open console → type client.connect ca-east.micronode.ca:28015 and press Enter. Or search for your server name in the in-game server browser.

Share the address with your friends and they can connect the same way. No extra setup needed on their end.
